I don't know what do you think about this mess, but from the articles I've read, it seems like she used him to obtain a residence permit (common practice in eastern Europe), cheated on him, took the children away and asked for $130,000. Hans is famous for his bad temper, with economic pressures and with his children away it seems quite logical to think he did, in fact, murder her. Now, such smart guy like him, couldn't see it coming back in 1999? Sometimes it works wonderful, like the case of Miguel de Icaza, sometimes not. You nerd, be aware!

I am glad that she is now a dead bitch. Reiser should not be punished for her murder (assuming he is guilty), she adultered him and deserved the death she proprotedly got. I hope and I pray that more women like nina reiser meet an untimely death for their transgressions against their husband.

Now back on topic: To the blog author, are you sure of all the facts that you wrote up there?
All of the facts here are correct. Yes it's obvious she used him to obtain residency. Yes she cheated on him (with a dominant BDSM guy who also (reportedly) regularly dosed her with ecstasy). Yes it's likely she was a huge bitch. Hans is also a bit of a jerk-off, from all reports. Probably would be a major personality clash there.
It's interesting to note that BDSM guy (by the name of Sturgeon) reportedly threatened Hans with all kinds of violence and mayhem, extortion, framing, etc in order to ruin his marriage... this was all waaaay before Nina disappeared, and Hans even filed a lawsuit about it long before she did. Nina was living with him (including the children) even though it was a violation of a court order to do so. Seems like everyone involved are giant fucktards. Except maybe the kids.
I meant to say she was living with Sturgeon, which was a violation of court order. Sorry for the ambiguity.
I also read that Nina obtained Russian citizenship for her son two months before she disappeared. I wonder if she might
have threatened to take the kids to
Russia.
